We are engineers and scientists performing services in the environmental, civil, and geotechnical disciplines. We study, analyse, design, and plan within these disciplines. We can provide statement of work, scope of work, CAD drawings, quality control and assurance, cost estimates, and project oversight/management.
Envirnomental Engineering:
-
Water Resources
-
Treatment (Storm and Sanitary)
-
Collection (pipes, pumps, other structures)
-
Wetlands (delineation and oversight)
-
Groundwater (geophysical measurements)
-
Hydrology (Stormwater Modeling)
-
Air Resources
- Air Quality sampling and control for indoor and outdoor sources.
-
Solid Waste - study and design of waste stream
-
Hazardous Waste - study and design of treatment for soil and water remediation. We can do Phase 1 studies, Phase 2 sampling, and Phase 3 planning.

Geotechnical Engineering: POZ can study and design geotechnical problems for remediation. Whether it is subsidence or risk there-of, we would use successful remediation practices such as drilling and grouting (sodium silicate, intrusion, and compaction) to remediate these problems. We can solve abandoned mine entries by closure through, blasting, gating (Bat-Gates), plugging, or backfilling. POZ can study and extinguish mine and refuse fires with experienced engineering techniques. POZ will accept a sub-contracting or lead role in this service.
Geophysical: POZ can conduct geophysical testing through bore or core holes with traditional down-the-hole equipment (pH, Eh, conductivity, 3-arm caliber, video analysis, and temperature) or using the more technolgical equipment (optical and acoustical televiewer), which incorporates sophisticated computer software in the analysis process. We can determine ground water quality and movement, fracture of the sub-strata, large voids, and other characteristics both physical and chemical.
Cutlureal Resources: Clearing sites for construction or mitigating finds from on-going construction sites.
