Environmental & Feasibility Studies: These studies may imply a spatial analysis for construction or development that requires studies of financial, social, and technical factors of an environment, according to ASTM. This may include the preparation for an Environmental Assessment Statement (EA). POZ will analyze these factors by first collecting then analyzing existing data. POZ has the knowledge and capability to accomplish these goals to save time, money and give the client better choices. We have many years of experience with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) standards. The staff at POZ has prepared numerous site feasibility studies, EA's , and the review of EIS.
Wetlands: The staff at POZ is certified by the Army Corp of Engineers to delineate wetlands. We can also design wetlands for remediation.
Research and Development: The staff at POZ has R&D experience, which resulted in 7 articles that were published for and presented at professional conferences. POZ can assist agencies, organizations, and institutions with their research needs through a reference search, sampling and analysis, or design of systems.
Sampling: POZ has followed ASTM standards for all sampling. We can sample industrial wastewater process, mine water effluent, and water quality & quantity of streams & lakes. POZ will sample air from combustion sources, public areas, and enclosed spaces. We can also sample soil and rock cores for Phase II analysis in Brown Fields. POZ has the training and expertise to survey sites for wetland delineations. We have disciplined instrumentation capabilities.
Project Management: POZ has over 25 years of project management experience in cultural resource, civil, geotechnical & environmental projects. POZ strictly adheres to technical specifications, and contract requirements. POZ will establish contact with the designer and contracting officer to insure proper interpretation prior to and as the work proceeds. POZ believes that the plan should proceed as designed. However, our experience and knowledge leads our project management staff the ability to establish a very close relationship with the project designer and contracting officer.
Computer Aided Design: POZ has aover 25 years of expereince with AtuoCAD. Currently, we use AutoCAD in designing our projects. We also use ArcMap to interface our CAD design. We have GIS capability and can perform 3-D modelling.
